This creamy smoothie will keep you full and taste like a sweet treat. The ingredients are easy to find and you may have them on hand already. I use blueberries, bananas, almond butter, almond milk and oatmeal.
First off, blueberries are full of antioxidants and bananas have a ton of nutrients like potassium and magnesium. Next, you get added fiber from the oatmeal and protein from the almond butter and milk which results in this smoothie being a complete meal. Its great for breakfast, an afternoon snack or pre/post workout. I like to use frozen fruit in my smoothies that way I don’t need to water it down with crushed ice. But feel free to use fresh fruit if that’s all you have on hand.
